CREATE YOUR OWN GAME AT HOME
Tired of playing the same
games over and over again? Why don’t you invent your own game? Follow the steps
below and create your own game.
We’ll compile all the games
and send them to primary schools so that they can share them with other
students in our town!
1. Think
of the kind of game you like (BOARD GAMES, BALL GAMES, DANCE GAMES, etc.) and
create one of your own.
2. Choose
three or four pieces of equipment or material that you need to play that game.
For example, BALLS, PLASTIC HOOPS, A DICE, BEANBAGS, ROPES, BATS, NETS,
PADDLES, TIMERS, A BASKET, A RACKET, A BUCKET, A BROOM, ROCKS, STICKS, CHAIRS,
BOXES, TOILET PAPER, MUSIC, A COMPUTER, etc. (if you don’t know these words,
look them up in the dictionary!).
3. Now,
you should write the rules to play this game. Remember, to do so, you should
use structures like YOU MUST……. (has de….), YOU MUSTN’T….. (no has de…..) and
YOU CAN…..(pots…..) together with action verbs like RUN, KICK, JUMP, CATCH,
THROW, MOVE FORWARD, MOVE BACKWARDS, STOP, etc.
4. Take
photos of the different equipment and material.
5. Once
you have written the rules, create a CANVA poster. Go to www.canva.com.
If you have an account, use your account details. If you don’t have an account,
you can use the username: lmore@xtec.cat
and the password lmoresatorras20.
6. Take
photos of the different steps to follow to play it since you will need them to
exemplify the instructions.
7. In
the poster, you should include:
NAME OF THE SPORT
EQUIPMENT
OR MATERIALS YOU NEED TO PLAY IT + PHOTOS
HOW MANY PLAYERS
(individual? Pairs? Groups?)
WHERE
CAN YOU PLAY IT? (outdoors? Indoors? Living room? On a table? Etc.)
WHAT ARE THE INSTRUCTIONS?
WHO WINS?
8. Once
you have created the poster, and included all the details and photos, download
it as a pdf file and send it to your teacher: Roser Castells rcastel4@xtec.cat ,

9. We will send the posters to primary
schools so that the students in those schools can play new games thanks to
you!!!!!
